A Câmara Municipal do Porto é o maior senhorio da Europa, com cerca de 47 bairros sociais, a população que ai vivem representam um 1/5 da população da Cidade. Realizei este projecto em 4 bairros sociais ditos problemáticos, onde tudo pode acontecer.

São espaços que tem regras próprias, lugares de fronteira. Essencialmente são retratos contextualizados no seu ambiente de bairro.

Nestas fotografias somos confrontados com diferentes atitudes e comportamentos, emoções e afectos. O que nos é fácil aceder descodificando-os. Por trás das imagens dos corpos estão histórias do acaso de Vida.

The Municipal Council of Porto is the greatest European landlord, with around 47 low-income neighborhoods, which represent 1/5 of the population of the city. This project was put together in 4 low-income neighborhoods said to be “hard”. Here, there are specific rules, these are borderline places.

The project is mainly constituted by contextualized portraits, where we can feel the neighborhood.

Through these images, we are confronted with different attitudes and behaviors, emotions and ways of relating. To get in touch with them is easy if we break the codes. Beyond the images of the bodies are stories if Life's hazards.
